This past week has been by far the most difficult in quite some time. My Transformation Day 2012 challenge isn’t supposed to be easy, but I wasn’t prepared for the sudden appearance of intense cravings and other frustrations regarding my food.
I did manage to lose a pound over the past week putting me at 254.8 for this week’s weigh-in. That puts the 16-week grand total at 24 pounds. It seems a little surreal, especially since the past week has been so tough where my food’s concerned. My plan to increase calories, fat, and veggies is still going strong, but I can’t help but think the changes are adversely affecting me somehow. I’m committed to give it a little more time. I’ll reserve judgement until then.
Lastly, I got some locally-raised, grass-fed beef this weekend, and I’m looking forward to feeding it to my family. I’ll be able to write more later about how everyone likes the beef. I’m pretty excited about that!
