I realize that I haven’t been posting much lately, so it’s definitely time for another Transformation Day 2012 update.
It’s been eighteen weeks now, and progress is still slow but steady. I weighed in at 252.2 this morning. That makes a total loss of 26.6 pounds since July 25, 2011. More exciting though is the fact that I made it through a major food holiday (Thanksgiving) without gaining any weight. I actually lost 1.6 pounds this past week.
I’m dealing with a cold that I caught last week though, so my eating is skewed again. I’ve spent several days eating very little because I’ve wanted nothing more than to sleep. The Zicam is definitely helping me beat this thing faster than I would otherwise, but I’m still just beaten down.
As my 35th birthday, Christmas, and a long-awaited vacation to Florida approach, my goal is to stay on plan, obviously. I want to come through these next weeks with a loss though; that’ll really help me start 2012 off on the right foot!
On a slightly different preparedness note, fuel was incredibly inexpensive here in Indiana last week, so we took the opportunity to top off all our fuel cans for the winter. We’ve been hearing rumors of a rough winter, and the last thing we want is to be caught off guard without fuel to travel or run the generator. It was nice to pay less than $3 per gallon for once, although I’m certain that won’t last long.
I hope this update finds everyone well. Take each day and do something to increase your liberty. After all, if you’re not increasing your liberty, you’re decreasing your freedom!
Happy Monday!
