Gluten-Free Garlic Cheddar Drop Biscuits

  • 1/2 c + 2 T coconut flour
  • 1 T granulated garlic
  • 1/4 t sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Sift together coconut flour, garlic powder, sea salt, pepper, and baking powder.  Set aside.
  3. Combine melted butter and eggs in a medium bowl until well-blended.  Stir in dry ingredients.  Fold in shredded cheese.
  4. Drop dough by large spoonfuls onto parchment-lined baking sheet.  Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes.

    Sara, this receipe sounds wonderful. Where do you get coconut flour. I don’t see that at my local grocrey store.
